      Soft Ware Rugs is the Naarm (Melbourne) based project of India Grace. 
      Using self taught, hand tufting techniques, India creates rugs and soft artworks that feature bold design elements with a nod towards rave and dance culture. 
      With a focus on minimal waste and sustainability, all offcuts from her creative process are kept and repurposed as stuffing, to be used in Soft Ware’s soft sculptures with the excess distributed to other artists and designers.
      As a business operating on stolen Wurundjeri land, Soft Ware is committed to paying the rent for the land on which they work and live.

    • FABRIC AND CARE

      When you first take your Soft Ware home, some shedding can be expected. This can be combatted with regular vacuuming. Vacuum on medium intensity without a beater bar or brush attachment. For smaller pieces, fluff can also be removed with a sticky lint roller.

      If you spill something on your Soft Ware, soak up any liquid immediately and spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Remember to dab, not scrub!

      For a long life keep in low traffic areas away from moisture.

      Your Soft Ware cannot be dry cleaned or put in the washing machine.
